A musical project by Kasper Sonnich Jørgensen
I have been making music on/off for the last 15 years. I have made beats for various rappers through the years and my beats are featured on various underground releases in Denmark and USA.
Music has always been a hobby and a personal fulfilment kind of thing so i have never really had a big desire or need to release something in my own name. But the last couple of years have been an emotional rollercoaster with so many things happening in my life (good and bad). It has bottled up all these creative ideas that needs to be released.
I am not very good at verbally expressing all these emotions and ideas, so they need to come out through the music
I am working on a project where i want to incorporate rap, singing and also straight instrumental elements. A Project where I want to dig a little deeper than most rap projects tend to go. I miss rap projects where there is room for the pain, the feelings, the doubts we all have! The dream is to make a project where we go below the surface. I want the feel to be “blue”, emotional and thoughtful.
The beats/production has to awake emotions in the listener. This is not music for the club. Nothing wrong with club music but this is not the project for that!
I am working with different talented musicians/rappers/singers and i hope to find more that can relate to the project and would like to collaborate on the project with me!

I have made a Spotify playlist that shows the feelings and emotion i want in my project! I have not thought a lot about genres and styles. Emotion is the key! The playlist shoots in many different directions but i still feel that if you listen from start to finish that you get a good idea of where I want to go with the emotion and feeling of this project

Cover inspiration
To give an idea of the visual style of the project i have collected a lot of covers that i feel nails the feeling I am after. I am very inspired by “old” record covers. I like covers based around photos and it is very important to me that they are not too “over designed”! I love “random photos”. Photos where you get the feeling that the photographer just “luckily” captured the motive

My name is Kasper Sonnich Jørgensen. I am 36 years old. I live in Aarhus the second largest city in Denmark with my girlfriend Mette and our 1 year old son Henry.
When i’m not making music i make a living as a graphic designer and art director at a big production house here in Aarhus, Denmark
